Bailiffs are only authorised to take control of the debtors goods and sell them to pay a debt.[1]
Nothing in the statutory enforcement provisions and underlying regulations provides for bailiffs to secretly follow a debtor, or monitor him.
If anyone is secretly following or monitoring you, they may commit an offence of stalking,[2] and you may apply for a Protection from Stalking Order.[3]
