Bailiffs must on request show the debtor and any person who appears to him to be in charge of the premises evidence of his identity, and authority to enter premises.[1]
Bailiff companies substitute official court-issued photo ID with fake ones, sometimes using police-issue warrant card and badge holders.
They are also the bailiffs enforcement certificate, signed by the judge and identifies which court issued it.
