Bailiffs may enter premises where the debtor usually lives,[1] or carries on a trade or business,[2] and bailiffs may take control of goods of the debtor on a highway and must give a notice telling the debtor what he is doing.[3]
If a bailiff wants to take control of goods on specified premises, he must apply for that authority separately and show evidence of that authority to the debtor or any person in charge of the specified premises.[4]
