Find the keyhole on the padlock, or on the clamp device


This type of lock are used on London Triangle clamps.

On a clamp device, the keyhole faces away from the wheel. You need a woodscrew, crowbar and a screw driver.

    Drill the woodscrew into the keyhole


    Leaving the screw head about 4mm proud of the lock chamber.

      Lift out the woodscrew


      Draw the barrel from the lock chamber.

        When the barrel is out, the shaft is free.


        Remove the shaft from the lock.

          Voila!


          Dismantle the clamp device from the wheel.

            Same procedure, using a woodscrew, place a block of wood beside the lock, lever the barrel out from the lock chamber, and the device falls apart.

              Deflate the tyre and remove


              Let down the tyre.

              Safely remove the clamp from the wheel. You are not guilty of 'interfering with controlled goods' because the vehicle (the goods) have not been secured, therefore are not 'controlled goods'. R vs Lambert 2019.
