Bailiffs may only take control of goods that belong to the debtor.[1]
Being the registered keeper of the vehicle does not confer ownership or a beneficial interest in it.
If a bailiff takes control, or clamps a car belonging to you for the registered keepers debts, then you can make a third-party claim to controlled goods.[2]
