Even if the garage is in a block (garage en-bloc) and it is locked, the bailiff may not break open the lockup garage, because it forms part of the domestic dwellinghouse.
There are some exceptions.[1]
If the garage is commercial premises, the bailiff may enter using reasonable force.[2][3]
