If the court fined you an amount exceeding the prescribed maximum,[1] you have the right to appeal to the Crown Court.[2]
The Victim Surcharge is a statutory charge to fund Victim Support[3] and cannot be appealed.
Apply to the magistrates' court to withdraw the warrant of control[4] which stops the enforcement power[5] until the Crown Court has determined your appeal.
