If you leave a door unlocked, the bailiff may enter by turning the handle.[1]
Bailiffs may not take control of goods of the debtor where the debtor is a vulnerable person and is the only person present.[2]
Vulnerable debtors are not liable for any enforcement stage fees and disbursements unless the bailiff given the debtor an adequate opportunity to get assistance and advice in relation to the exercise of the enforcement power before taking control of the debtors goods.[3][4][5]
