Filing a TE7/TE9 or PE2/PE3 after the vehicle has been taken suspends enforcement, preventing the bailiff from selling the car until the court decides on the application.[1][2]
If the court rules in the applicant's favour, the applicant may recover the vehicle[3][5] and claim damages for the loss of its use.[4][5]
