Register in another name – Ownership under someone else or a company allows a third party to claim it.

Register in Scotland – Bailiffs cannot act outside England and Wales.

Park on another’s land – Bailiffs may only act where the debtor lives, works, or on a highway.

Lease or hire purchase – Bailiffs cannot take goods owned by lenders.

Display a Blue Badge – Vehicles showing a valid disabled badge are protected.

Use as a home – A motorhome or caravan that’s a person’s main residence is exempt.

Low-value work vehicle – If used for work, business or education and worth under £1,350, it’s exempt.
